Store Policy

All sales are final; no refunds are allowed. Exchanges and/or cancellations after the sale on undelivered merchandise are subject to a 20% penalty and/or restocking fee (It is considered a sale once the paperwork is signed and/or a deposit is placed on an invoice). No refunds, exchanges, credits or returns are allowed on clearance, discontinued, 'as-is' or close-out items. No cancellations are allowed on special orders, and penalties will occur if a cancellation occurs. The buyer is allowed to exchange items of equal or higher cost only contingent upon the seller; restocking fees will apply. Delivered items cannot be exchanged.

Special Order Policy

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on all special orders (all deposits are non-transferrable). The customary waiting period is within 4-8 weeks. Exceptions occur due to backorders on the particular item. We cannot guarantee the arrival date; it is contingent upon the manufacturer and shipping companies. Gallery Furniture will attempt to assess the closest estimate on the arrival time. We will notify the customer when the order arrives, at which time the customer will need to make arrangements for final payments, and delivery or pickup. If the order is not delivered or picked up within 30 days of notification, the items will be considered regular in-stock inventory and the customer forfeits all deposits (there are no refunds, exchanges, or credits). 

 

Layaway Policy

A layaway period is 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon with the store management to extend beyond that duration. If a layaway period extends beyond 30 days of the original due date, a storage charge of a minimum of $50 per month, or 1.5% of the invoice total, whichever is greater, will be applied. The minimum amount for a layaway is $100. The minimum amount of the original deposit is 30% of the invoice. All deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. Once an item is placed on layaway, it is considered a final sale. If the price of an item changes while on layaway, either reduced or greater, both the buyer and seller are bound to the price and terms of the original invoice date of sale. Gallery Furniture is not responsible for notifying the buyer when the layaway period is over. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay the balance in full and arrange delivery and/or pick up within the layaway's period. Failure to pay the balance in full within the layaway period will result in the item returning to stock and the forfeiture of all deposit amounts (no credits, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds are allowed). 

 

Pick Up Policy - Altamonte Springs Location 

As of January 1, 2017, all pickups for large items must be done at our main location in South Orlando, two miles south of the Florida Mall right across from Sam's Club. It's only a short 20 minute drive down I-4.

Pick Up Times and Hours: 2-6 PM, Monday-Friday ONLY. 

Unfortunately, our salespeople cannot assist with pickups for heavy merchandise, but they will try their best to assist you with your purchase. We do not have any warehouse personnel at this store who will be able to assist you with pickups. If you have a buddy, a friend, or movers who can help you, talk with one of the salespeople and we could make an exception for you.

Large Items that are not available for pickup at the Altamonte Springs location include, but are not limited to: queen and king-sized beds, chest of drawers, dressers, dining tables, dining table tops (including glass), console tables, cocktail tables, credenzas, mattresses, box springs, sofas, loveseats, reclining chairs, fireplaces, tv stands, large torchiere floor lamps, large desks, bookcases, and office furniture, and anything requiring the assistance of two or more people.

Pick Up Policy - South Orlando Location/Main Office

If you need to pick up your merchandise, we have warehouse personnel who is able to assist you with loading your merchandise at the South Orlando location.

Pick-up for large merchandise is available only from 2-6 PM Monday-Friday ONLY.
